Jardín Spanish Immersion Academy – Preschool & Pre-K Program includes play-based learning with enrichment activities such as field trips, dance, music, art, and extracurricular sport. The preschool and pre-K classrooms build on Spanish vocabulary and work on all areas of development while the child becomes fluent in both Spanish and English. Children are exposed to literacy, pre-writing, and early math and science concepts through the program’s multicultural Spanish immersion curriculum.
• Ages: 3–5 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with program hours ranging from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and daily open house times from 9:30 am–12:30 pm and 3:30 pm–5:30 pm
The program follows a multicultural Spanish immersion curriculum and uses play-based learning. Enrichment activities include field trips, dance, music, art, and extracurricular sport. The mission of Jardín Spanish Immersion Academy is to provide high quality education in a diverse environment where creativity, learning and personal growth is developed to empower successful leaders. The majority of teachers are native Spanish speakers. The program offers organic meals prepared on-site in commercial kitchens with natural and organic food, and meals are prepared on-site in commercial kitchens. All centers are equipped with an indoor playground area that allows children to run around, release their energy, and engage in active play with their peers. Centers are described as clean and colorful with brightly painted walls, friendly designs, plenty of natural light from windows, and playful music, and toys are disinfected daily and surfaces are cleaned throughout the day. The curriculum is geared towards green thinking, including teaching about recycling and reusing and providing hands-on experience in nature through outdoor play and preschool field trips. Child Care Assistance is accepted in all locations.
